Dr. Glenn A. Crosby founded The Crosby Clinic in March 2003 to continue the Crosby Family’s dedication to serving the medical needs of residents of the Mid-South. He comes from a line of medical professionals, including his father, Dr. V Glenn Crosby, who was a prominent cardiovascular surgeon performing the first heart transplant in Memphis.
Dr. Glenn A. Crosby is a graduate of MUS High School and Rhodes College where he received his BS in Biology. After studying at St. John’s college in Oxford, England and completing his Master’s Degree in Biology from Georgetown University, Dr. Glenn A. Crosby returned to Memphis where he attended the University of Tennessee medical school, earning his Medical Degree.
Dr. Glenn A. Crosby’s medical education advanced with his practice as an intern at Harvard Medical and Mass General Hospital. He completed his Neurosurgery residency at George Washington University. Once again Dr. Glenn A. Crosby returned Memphis and began his practice serving the Mid-South at Semmes-Murphey Clinic from 1996 until the founding of his own clinic in 2003.
Dr. Glenn A. Crosby has been Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery since 2001. He continues to advance his medical knowledge as a member of numerous medical societies including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons where he is able to advance his patient care skills by staying current in all treatment options and procedures such as Motion Preservation and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
When Dr. Glenn A. Crosby is not caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
